Hi, I'm Penne. I'm a wife and mom of three. When I almost died in 2021, I was determine to give my kids all the tools they needed in life, starting in the kitchen. I am an avid foodie and of course, married one. I love to cook and our whole family loves to eat, so I'm teaching my little foodies what I know. We hope that our story and videos inspire others to get their families in the kitchen and make memories.

For the viewers convivence, I share the recipes  we make in the videos on here. I'm not the author of most recipes, so I do give credit where credit is due, be sure to check out the author links.

May you have happy

taste buds and full bellies! 😘

I wanted to treat my husband because he has been helping find recipes, really it's just him telling me what looks good but none the less. So I picked two recipes I knew he would like. The pizza turned out A-mazing! I added Italian diced tomatoes. It just seemed dry to me but regular marinara sauce seemed too ordinary. Great add. Threw some basil on it. Oh, oh so good.

What is pizza night with no salad??? If you have read any of my previous post, I've been open to anything but regular salads. My hubby loves anti-pasta, so an Italian anti-pasta sounded right up his ally. I didn't catch the recipe for a link to a dressing recipe she had when I read it over the first time. I noticed while filming though. In fact I was looking for what dressing she used and realized I needed to make it. 🤦‍♀️So I did and thank goodness it was easy. Actually both recipes were. I substituted pickled onions instead of the thin rings of red onions. 😋

Well I'm pretty sure Paisley got slipped crack. 🤣 Are you allowed to refer to your children as crackheads??? I was told that's looked down on. I actually have a humorous story about that. So Paige is really into Gotcha Life and likes making videos with the characters, so she made one of her and her friends with the characters. Well I get a call from one of the moms (she's my good friend) and she's asking if I've seen the video. I tell her I did but I didn't pay super close attention. Apparently I should have. The video is titled "The Crackheads". 🤦‍♀️My friend knows me well so she knew it was meant as a term for being out of control and nothing more. She and I laughed and later I told Paige to choose a better wording like the spazzes or something like that. She's so green, she had no idea where the term came from. I told her and why it has become so commonly used to refer to someone being crazy. We throw it around in a harmless way, gotta watch what I say to my kids though.

Anyway she was super crazy. I have to remind myself she is learning and it has to be fun. The problem is she knows the videos are going up on YouTube and the bits of YT she's been allowed to watch, people are always acting over the top to get the views. Isn't that a catch 22, I limit their watching of YouTube but let them be in videos going up on there. I just can't stand when people are just screaming for attention. Or it's just doing something mindless, like unwrapping presents. My good friends daughter (Paisley's belly buddy) used to watch that for hours when she was little. It's hard because their is no filter, even the kids YouTube. I wish was parental controls, so you could say what you allow and don't.
