Hi, I'm Penne. I'm a wife and mom of three. When I almost died in 2021, I was determine to give my kids all the tools they needed in life, starting in the kitchen. I am an avid foodie and of course, married one. I love to cook and our whole family loves to eat, so I'm teaching my little foodies what I know. We hope that our story and videos inspire others to get their families in the kitchen and make memories.

For the viewers convivence, I share the recipes  we make in the videos on here. I'm not the author of most recipes, so I do give credit where credit is due, be sure to check out the author links.

May you have happy

taste buds and full bellies! 😘

Raspberry Cheesecake Cookies - Kids Cooking

Check out the video of me teaching my girl's to cook. 😊

What food were the kids cooking up this episode???

I love the raspberry cheesecake cookies at Subway, so image my excitement when I saw a copycat on Pinterest. We are heading out of town so I wanted something to snack on while on the road trip. I misread the ingredients list, when it said freeze dried raspberry and I got frozen raspberries. So Paisley and I had red hands when we were done. Taste wise they were still delicious, but I wouldn't mind trying again with the freeze dried ones. And try again we will!

They were actually quite easy and very delicious! How could cookies, made with cake mix, not be??? We used my Kitchen Aid but I feel like a hand mixer would have been easier. The new whisk attachment I got for it was great. And the whisk wiper. Genus! Or not using frozen raspberries. I'll get a hand mixer and freeze dried raspberries and let ya' know. Either way I'll be making these again! I love hearing my girls say they learned something from cooking.

Like they are actually listening! During filming Paisley said "What I have learned..." when talking about measuring liquids over the bowl so if you spill it goes into the bowl. The beauty of our show is the girls are choosing or I'm picking a recipe for an occasion and a lot of times it's our first time making it. We don't practice, minimal preparing goes into it and I'm lucky if I read the recipe all the way through. I've always been that way. But I can cook and my girls are learning to think on the fly while in the kitchen. Let's face it, that's life. Things don't always go as planned and you can't plan for everything. Flying by the seem of my pants has always been how I am and it's a skill my girls will be glad they know how to do.
