Hi, I'm Penne. I'm a wife and mom of three. When I almost died in 2021, I was determine to give my kids all the tools they needed in life, starting in the kitchen. I am an avid foodie and of course, married one. I love to cook and our whole family loves to eat, so I'm teaching my little foodies what I know. We hope that our story and videos inspire others to get their families in the kitchen and make memories.

For the viewers convivence, I share the recipes  we make in the videos on here. I'm not the author of most recipes, so I do give credit where credit is due, be sure to check out the author links.

May you have happy

taste buds and full bellies! 😘

Taco Lasagna & Mexican Street Corn

Check out the video of me teaching my girl's to cook. 😊

Today on our Homeschool Cooking Class, I was so proud of Paisley for finding the Taco Lasagna, it's a keeper. Did she pick the Mexican Street Corn because she knows how much I love corn???

I love lasagna and I love Mexican food so, win, win. This is a great make ahead meal or left overs. I was eating on it all week, killed it off! I told my husband I'm going to start making this the morning of, when we are having people over and just baking when they are coming over. So good. So genius. Thank you Julie Clark! Her daughter's are also involved in cooking and the blog, I enjoyed reading about that. I also love that the name of her blog came from her kids middle names

because we use the girls middle names in our videos, Paige and Paisley. The fact that both of their middle names start with P is totally by chance. If I had it my way it would have been their first names but I lost. I loved Paige and so did my mom, in fact she loved Paisley as well. Anyway my ex-husband didn't love it. With Paisley, I would take monthly pictures of my pregnancy it front of the French door, the curtains were paisley and I had an aha moment, but it wasn't his first choice. I found this Street Taco Sauce to add to, just another layer of flavor.

Birth announcement for Paisley

Paige was 1 when my husband and I got married, he has always treated her (and my son) like they are his own. He's a good man. I think I'll keep him. She's a little over 3 year's older than Paisley. That was my pregnancy announcement with her. 🤣Those are the Paisley curtains I would stand in front of and that's the girls when they were itty bits. I've always liked writing and poetry (not that I'm super good) but I think I did okay on the birth announcement. I mean at least it's funny. The girls are sitting here picking out recipes and had never dawned on me that they had never seen the announcement. They laughed.

Anyway back to the food. I LOVE STREET CORN. Whenever we go to fairs or amazement park I search out the corn smoother it in butter and mayo and parmesan cheese. 🤤 So when Paisley choose this recipe I was ecstatic. Why have I never thought of this before??? Paisley had the job of striping the corn. My kitchen can attest, I'm still finding dried up corn hair. My husband put them in our Traeger. Could have gone in a little longer, he did 20 minutes but I've read 45 minute to a hour. We got rid of our BBQ because we like having a Traeger better. Best money we ever spent for cooking outside. We even brought my sister-in-law and her hubby one for their anniversary one year.
